Working with Me

If you’ve never been in coaching, I’m sure you’re wondering what it’s like and how we work together.

There are always two altitudes of process in coaching: the ground level (micro) and the mountaintop (macro).

There’s our agreement about what we’re going to work on together, clarifying what’s going on now, describing your desired future, and creating an action plan to bring it to reality. That process holds true in each individual session (micro) and also in the overall engagement (macro).

My role in the work is to provide just enough structure to keep us moving forward;

to offer potential shifts in perspective that might generate more useful ideas and foster more positive energy; and to ensure that we’re identifying what you want to learn (and to unlearn!) as you build momentum towards your destination.

As we progress, you will find that I bring a wealth of methods you can experiment with in your daily life,

learned in my study of business, psychology, creativity, innovation, theater, and, of course, executive coaching. All of these bodies of knowledge offer simple tactics you can immediately apply to help you uncover new ways to achieve your goals.

I often think to myself, WWTA?” – What Would Tony Ask? One of Tony’s key strengths as a coach is asking the right questions to get you to think deeper about the challenge in order to help you solve it on your own.
